How to Choose Which Is Right for You and Your Family

Selecting from a long list of brands can be quite confusing (and overwhelming), but you can narrow down your choices by following these tips:

Stick to your budget

A more expensive detergent, no matter how great they work for laundry detergent allergy, is something you can live without if there’s a cheaper brand that works just as great for your skin.

Choose efficiency over popularity

If you are down to a few detergents and all of them are nice to your skin, just choose which works better with your washer and not which has more reviews. The most important review you need to consider is your own.

Remember, your skin matters most

Whatever detergent you choose, just be sure that it’s the best for your skin, so far. If it works well for a long time, stick to it. But if the product changes and it starts to cause any problem, don’t hesistate to make a switch.

Consider the shelf life

Some detergents, specifically those made from 100% biodegradable ingredients may tend to spoil or grow mold after some time. This is especially true when you stock up too much supply of detergent. You’ll need to observe the product’s shelf-life first before you dedicate all your money on its supply.

Know your family’s preference

It’s good when your family not only likes how clean their clothes look, but also how nice they feel when they wear them. So don’t forget to ask for your family’s opinion on this matter. Get some laundry detergent samples, it’ll help you decide which detergent is best loved by the whole family.

Choose what’s versatile

It’s great when you just have to use one product for different uses around the house. Your laundry detergent can be that product. Detergents like Charlie’s Soap and Nellie’s Laundry Soap can also be used in your dishwasher, and you can also use them for cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, and even your car.

Time for You to Live Comfortably

Choosing the right detergent will benefit you and your family in many ways:

  • Reduced skin irritations and allergy attacks
  • Less cost on allergy-management treatments
  • Improved skin condition and general health
  • Improved feeling of self-esteem
  • Increased feeling of physical comfort
  • Less time spent on skin maintenance
  • More time spent enjoying life

When you worry less and feel less discomfort from your eczema, you feel more capable of doing the things you love. You’ll even feel better about yourself when you look in the mirror and see that the rashes are not as bad as before.
